One of our preferred summer treats is one-fixing banana "dessert". I load up on the bananas and when they get somewhat overripe, I'll cut them and freeze them so we can make banana frozen yogurt whenever we get a hankering. The young men believe it's genuine frozen yogurt and are totally happy with it. It's so a lot more beneficial so I'm excited they love it to such an extent.

Solidified bananas and scaled down chocolate chips are everything necessary to make these delectable little frozen yogurt nibbles that are the ideal sound summer treat!

Ingredients
  • 6 ripe bananas
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips, plus more to sprinkle. 

Instructions
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice the bananas and arrange them in one single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Freeze for about 2 hours.
  2. Place the frozen bananas and vanilla extract in your food processor and blend until smooth and creamy. Remove blade.
  3. Stir in chocolate chips.
  4. Use a muffin silicone mold and scoop the banana "ice cream" into each cup, then sprinkle some chocolate chips over the top. Freeze for 1-2 hours.
  5. Let the cups at room temp for about 3 minutes before eating. Enjoy!
