I was an all day coffee drinker. Like six or seven cups a day. From the moment i woke up until after dinner i was sipping a cup of coffee.

I wondered for months why i was feeling so jittery and some days my mind felt like it was going a mile a minute. i felt my mind jumping from one thing to another. After self-diagnosing myself that caffeine was the culprit of my jitters i gave it up cold turkey. Now i enjoy a few cups of decaf a day and no more jitters! i’m so much more focused and i feel so much better.

I also started drinking a lot more tea. i’ve always loved tea but i find myself drinking it in place of coffee. i love enjoying a cup mid-day and i’ve always had a cup a night to wind down before bed. it’s so comforting and soothing. Chai lattes have always been a favorite of mine. From the flavor to the aroma it was always one that i’ve enjoyed and one that i’ve frequently would order at my local coffee shop.

This creamy and delicious Almond Milk Chai Latte is so good and you wouldn’t even know it’s dairy-free! Honestly! The blend of cinnamon, ginger, cloves and cardamom simmered in almond milk is incredible. Before serving i like to top it off with a little frothy almond milk too.
